The National Archaeology museum is a treasure throve of history. It literally has all kinds of treasure on Kildare street. From gold coins to ancient artefacts. This museum is just a short trip from the Arthaus Hotel.
Archaeological Discovery
There are three permanent exhibitions to visit at the National Archaeology museum, exploring the Vikings, Gold and the treasury of manuscripts, chalices and many more trinkets.
Aspects of the museum’s architecture evoke the medieval Cathedral Treasuries that inspired the exhibitions.
You can find new temporary exhibitions on the museum website.
