Dublin's 3Arena is situated outside the city centre in Dublin Port, thankfully there are great public transport options to get there. Walking to this iconic venue will take roughly 30 minutes from the centre of Dublin and around 40 minutes from the Arthaus. The Luas tram terminates at the 3 Arena, while there are also a lot of bus routes available from the Arthaus, and other parts of the city. DublinBikes have a docking station at the arena, as well as outside our hotel.
In the leafy suburb of Ballsbridge, just outside the City Centre, the Aviva Stadium hosts international Rugby, Football, Conferences and Concerts. The Aviva Stadium was previously known as Lansdowne Road and that is the name of the Dart station connected to it. Taking public transport from Arthaus Hotel to Aviva Stadium will take 35 minutes, and a walk would be 40 minutes. The Aviva Stadium is home to Ireland's Six Nations rugby matches.

This historic theatre in the heart of Dublin is one of the few protected structures in the city centre. Some of the world's biggest acts have taken to the stage at the 3Olympia Theatre while they were up and coming acts. Located in the middle of Dame street, this hosts some of Dublin's most popular events. The Olympia Theatre is an eight minute walk from the Arthaus Hotel, alternatively you can take a five minute taxi ride, however make sure you leave more time on the evening of your event.
Croke Park is the home of Ireland's national sports, Gaelic and Hurling. These are great events to see in person and really are a must do on your holiday to Ireland. However on five or six nights a year, the iconic stadium turns into the largest convert venue in Ireland. These very special events turn Dublin into a brilliant city filled with fans. Croke Park is on the north side of the city, and takes 32 minutes to travel to from the Arthaus Hotel. The Arthaus is the perfect location to stay for concerts in Croke Park
Vicar Street is in the heart of Dublin's oldest neighbourhood, The Liberties. Home to not only iconic pieces of memoribilia, but some famous performances over the years. Vicar Street is the favourite venue of lots of Irish people and performers like. The venue is an 18 minute walk from the Arthaus, and passes by some of our favourite bars and restaurants along the way.

Trinity College has long been a popular tourist attraction with the Long Room & Book of Kells being the main reason. However, each summer, college green turns into an energetic 5,000 capacity venue for a series of concerts at the end of June. The Trinity Summer Series sees headline acts play an intimate outdoor gig in the heart of Dublin 2 each year.
Bord Gais Energy Theatre is Dublin's most commercial theatre with many west end productions, operas, ballets and home grown dramas using this venue for their shows. The theatre is near to a lot of casual restaurants, and is best accessed by the bus. The journey on bus will take 20 minutes from the Arthaus Hotel, alternatively the walk is 30 minutes.
The Gaiety Theatre is one of Ireland's oldest, with a history dating back to 1871. This iconic venue has lived many lives but has always remained as a theatre. The Arthaus is the closest hotel to the Gaiety, it is only a 250m walk, taking about two minutes. If you're in town at the right time, you may be able to catch the world famous riverdance.
